Gratitude Post #10 – Thank you October
Each month since January I have been writing a monthly gratitude post to remind myself of the things we have to be appreciative of each month. Life flies by and it is so easy to forget or overlook things so these posts remind me of what I have to be grateful for. Another month has been and gone, and what a great month it was. Here is Gratitude Post #10 – Thank you October:
So Shape Challenge
The start of the month saw the completion of my 28 day So Shape challenge. I was very impressed with the So Shape diet plan, and especially with the fact that I managed to lose some weight. I would definitely do the challenge again.
Family Reunion
I went to a family reunion this month. It was so lovely to have a catch up with family members that I don’t see nearly enough. We made a weekend out of it too which meant there was lots of time to see the family.
Halloween
October is a great month for craft lovers and it was Halloween crafts galore in our house. We had lots of fun making some (not so) spooky paper plates and I even introduced Molly to paper mache for the first time. She wasn’t too keen on the stickiness but when it had dried she had loads of fun painting our creations. As Molly is getting older she is really starting to understand events and holidays. Turns out she is a massive Halloween fan and she couldn’t wait to dress up and go trick-or-treating.

Personalised Papercut Pictures
I collaborated with a fantastic company this month called Twenty Fingers. They make beautiful personalised papercut pictures and they are incredible. I was gifted a papercut in exchange for my review; I was able to choose a design that was personal and meant a lot to me.
So that was my Gratitude Post #10 – Thank you October roundup. October was a great month. Bring on November – we have a full calendar already!
Thanks for reading,
Sam x

It’s fab. I would definitely recommend it. There are 3 challenges available which last for either 5, 14, or 28 days. X

What a fun idea for a post. There really are so many things we can be thankful for that we often overlook.

Oh this seems like such a lovely way to record happy memories. I keep saying I’m going to do a gratitude list but I haven’t gotten round to it yet. I love the papermache pumpkin. I’ve done lots of crafts with my girls over the years but we’ve never attempted papermache – I think they’d love it – I’m going to add it to my to-do list #triumphanttales
